Change colors on the admin panel

    Hello!
A while ago, I changed color scheme on the admin panel to ‘Coffee’ – by going to Users -> All users -> Edit. There where around eight different palettes to choose from.

Now I’ve grown tired of these colors and want to change them, but the Edit button on my user now takes me to wordpress.com/me instead – and there’s no option to change admin panel colors there. I’ve clicked around for a good hour without finding anything.

I’m using a free account, but I don’t think that matters since I’ve been able to switch from the default colors to ‘Coffee’ under the same account before. If the option to change admin panel colors indeed did get taken away from the free accounts – shouldn’t my admin panel revert to the default color scheme automatically? Or am I stuck with ‘Coffee’ now?

TL;DR: How do I change colors on admin panel with a free account?

  • Hi there,

It’s no longer possible to change that option on WordPress.com no, but I’d be happy to set it back to the default WP-Admin color scheme for you. Please confirm if I should do that.

You can do that? Awesome! That would be very kind of you, yes please!

Thanks for confirming, I’ve reverted you back to the Default colour scheme :)

    I hope this helps.
