Change current theme to purchased theme
-
I purchased a premium theme for wordpress through the mojo marketplace and have my website hosted through Bluehost , currently appearing in that theme. If you click on my blog tab, it takes the user to wordpress.com (my old Free theme). How do I change the current blog theme to match the new wordpress theme?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey there,
It sounds like you are trying to install a third party theme for a self-hosted WordPress.ORG blog. Third party themes can not be uploaded to a free hosted WordPress.COM blog. They are for WordPress.ORG installs which run on different software.
The good news is that WordPress.COM has hundreds of available themes that you can activate (many for free), and they are found under Appearance > Themes
You can find out more about them here:http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/adding-new-themes/
Let me know if you have any other problems or questions.
Cheers,

Are you logged into the correct dashboard? What is the URL of the site hosted on Bluehost? You’ll need to access the admin of that site in order to update the theme.
Let me know, thanks!

Darnelldiddles,
Thanks for the response. My older WP blog that I want to merge with the new theme is on wordpress.com I believe I had started it first on .org than brought it over to wp.com (that’s where it is now anyway)
I bought a wordpress theme through the mojo marketplace and that is hosted on bluehost for premium themes and other web tools . I imagine that to manage a wordpress premium theme, when purchased, has to be ordered through a purchased host plan on wordpress (Go Premium), since the theme is not listed under Appearance>Themes. Do you know if there is a another way other than Save my old posts and basically, cut and paste to the new theme?
Thanks again,
chefk
