Change Domain Name

  I was showing a friend how to create a blog and now I need to change the domain name I used so that she can have it on her own account. Please either delete the crochet guild domain or let me know how to change it so that she can have that specific domain. Thanks!

  Once deleted, a WordPress.com URL becomes unavailable permanently.

  Since that is not what you are aiming to do, the better plan of action would be to transfer ownership of that site to your friend using these instructions:
