Change domain name and template.

    Hello there,

    I want to change my domain name and use a new template. Is it best to start a new site and export my files from my old site to my new site? Or is it better to change the template and the domain name on my existing website.
    I don’t care too much about the seo but I would like to keep the comments on the website.
    Would doing this affect Google reviews?

    Change your site’s theme will not affect any of that.

    If you would like to change your WordPress.com site’s URL, there are options and instructions for doing so here:

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/

    Please bear in mind that once changed, that site’s original WordPress.com URL will become permanently unavailable for future use by you or any other user. If you feel that you might need that URL again in the future, you might consider starting a new site with your preferred name rather than changing the name of your existing site.
