Change email address of the administrator

  Hello,

  A contractor set up my WordPress site for me and used their email address instead of mine. I tried to change the admin email to my email address, but it says there is a ‘pending change’. I emailed the contractor who set it up, but she says she has not received an email to change it. Help?
