Change featured image size on homepage

Hello, I’m trying to get the featured image on my homepage to display the same size as the featured images on every other page of my site — in other words, in a landscape style, not a giant square. My theme recommends 1230×1230, which I did. I just don’t like how far down (i.e. the height) the image goes on the home page, and when I do a demo of my Edin theme, it doesn’t look like that on their home page. No matter how I crop my image, it turns it into a giant square. Any way to customize my home page so that the dimensions of the image appear just like they do on my “Services” or “Curriculum” pages? Thanks in advance!

Hi, what is causing the tall image is that you have a bunch of open paragraphs and heading elements at the bottom of the page content. Open that page in the editor, switch to the Text tab and delete everything below your last line of content.
