change main site address/domain

  Hi
  I currently have my username as Solyorn and web address as solyorn.wordpress… However I have been thinking and want to have it as something different – Something like ‘Raknagor.wordpress…’ and therefore have Solyorn as a seperate page as a seperate project. Is this possible?

  Hi,

  So the answer is…. sort of. You can change the URL of your current site to something like ‘Raknagor.wordpress…’, but then your current site URL will be unable to be used.

  The best thing to do is probably to set up a new ‘Raknagor.wordpress…’ site, then follow these instructions move your existing content to the new site:

  https://wordpress.com/support/changing-site-address/#using-a-wordpress-com-site-address-you-already-own

  Once you’ve done that, you can delete the content in solyorn.wordpress… and start fresh using it for a new project.
