  I’m a uni student and need a specific URL so my teacher can find my website. I need to change it to wordpress.com?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  Please create a new site again at https://wordpress.com/start/site/, but this time on the first step, make sure you don’t select the option: “Share ideas, experiences, updates, reviews, stories, videos, or photos”. Then you should be able to select a WordPress.com address instead.

  Note that the options you select during signup in no way impacts how your blog works. It’s more for us to gather data about the types of sites people create, and it can affect the themes we suggest to you at first.

  I have tried that and still can’t seem to get it to @wordpress.com. Are they any other solutions?

  Can you try and create a new .wordpress.com site by going to the following address?

  https://wordpress.com/start/domains
