change name of blog
-
I have purchased a domain name from go-daddy.com and have had them “connect” ramblingsfromtheleft to this name. I would not like to change the official name of the blog from the old “ramblings” to the new “florencefoisinthecity.com” … I want to be sure that I do not lose my subscribers, that all past posts from ramblings will come with me, and I want to know how to do this.
If there is a fee for this service, I am more than happy to pay. Please advise how to do this and how much it will cost. Thank you.

Hi there,
You can map your domain, florencefoisinthecity.com, to your WordPress.com blog at http://ramblingsfromtheleft.wordpress.com in just a few steps.
First, you’ll need to change your name servers to:
ns1.wordpress.com
ns2.wordpress.com
ns3.wordpress.comYou can make this change at GoDaddy.
Once you’ve done so, log into your blog’s dashboard, and navigate to Store -> Domains. Enter your domain name — florencefoisinthecity.com — into the input box, and follow the prompts.
Full instructions on mapping your domain are here:
