change name server

  I changed the sit host and they gave me a new server name. They said to me that i have to change the server name for theirs.

  First question : How can I change the server name? I follow the instructions in this weds but when i open theDomais and I click in ‘primary domain’ the page appears different form the instructions and it didn’t have the option to change server name.

  Question number 2: I don’t want to change my website name that is ‘makingartbyclaudia.wordpress.com’ How I change the server name without change my website address?

  @claudiapolena your site makingartbyclaudia.wordpress.com won’t be affected.

  I don’t see another site on this account though, or a custom domain. Do you have another domain in a different account?

  Hi! Thank you for answer. No I don’t have any other domain. I have a free website on wordpress but it was limited so I change the server for a payed but affordable hostsite but now I can’t access my website there until I change the server name.

  @claudiapolena you won’t be able to change name servers for the wordpress.com address, only for a custom domain.

  Your new host can help you get a domain. :)
