Change of domain, can’t access WP dashboard

    Help! Working on my final portfolio website for my BFA and I changed my domain name to an older one I had (From nicholasyatesdesign.com to nicholasyates.design). I bought nicholasyates.design from Wix. Turns out WordPress doesnt like the .design. I just need to switch it back to .com. My hosting is through siteground.com and the domain nicholasyatesdesign.com is currently parked. I’ve researched multiple options and nothing works.

    My hosting is through siteground.com

    That means that you’re actually set up on the open source software. It’s different from the managed hosting environment that we provide here at WordPress.com.

    I think that your hosting provider should be able to help you figure out the new domain and connect it to the site.

    If not, go to https://wordpress.org/support/forums/ and make a post there. You will need an account on WordPress.org if you don’t have one already.
