Change of e.mail

    I set up a blog using an e.mail from my work in Switzerland. This e.mail gets all my notifications. Now I am back in australia. At some time (I forget when) I partially set up a site using my personal e.mail. I want to change the e.mail of the previous site to this one, but because I have already used it, I get an error message on previous work site saying ‘this e.mail is already in use’. so my question is, if I close the site set up with my personal email as login name, will it keep the site I set up first and not delete all the posts? Second, Will that enable me to use the personal e.mail I now wish to use for the original site, ie will it allow me to change the e.mail address for notifications?

    You can use the password reset tool to access the account associated with your old email:

    https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

    Once you have accessed your old account you can change its email address by following these instructions:

    Change Your Email Address

    This will free up your email address and you’ll be able to use it to create a new account.
