Change of Email Address

  I’m trying to change my email address (to an address I’ve used in the past). The one I’m trying to change FROM is no longer active, so I can’t ‘confirm’ the change, but WordPress can confirm that the one I’m trying to change TO has been used here in the past.

  Hi there,

  You can change your account email address from here:

  https://wordpress.com/settings/account/

  Please note that the change will not immediately take effect as you will receive a validation email at the new email address – so won’t need access to the current email. Make sure to click the link in the validation email to confirm the email address change.

  The reason why the email isn’t updating may be because the email you are trying to change it to is already associated with another account. Emails can only be associated with one account.
