Change of web host later?

    Hi, I am just starting creating my first homepage (for a dog breeder) and I have in september bought 3 webadresser. Can I move ahead connecting to those first round and then when the year is gone transfer the hosting to you or do I need to do it up front, having to pay almost double for the first year?

    Hi Lena –

    Whenever a domain is transferred to WordPress.com that action adds a year to whatever registration term you purchased originally. For example, if you registered your domain for 3 years, then you transferred it to us, that registration would not expire for 4 years. Does that make sense?
