I’ve changed the wordpress.com domain. Can I set up a redirect?

You can set up a site redirect only if you’ve kept the old site address and did not discard it in the process of changing. This page will tell you how and link you to the page to add that to your cart: https://en.support.wordpress.com/site-redirect/

Thank you for your prompt reply. I stupidly did discard it. Have tried to change it back to the original, but the site will not permit this, saying that the original is already taken.
Anyway, I will have to live with my incompetence.

Oh no! Unfortunately it won’t allow you to create a new site like that or change back when you discard the old one. Sorry you missed it. Sharing your new address with friends should let them know of the change.

My fault really. I did see the warnings, and did tick the box. Not a good idea to tackle these things after a long day cutting hedges!
It’s a local site, so pretty well all visitors will know the URL.
Appreciate your help over this matter.
