Change owner of website
-
I set up a little website for our local community club for informational purposes about 2 years ago. I am no longer the webmaster or part of the organization and have moved on to other things. How can I remove my credit card information so that I am not charged in the future for the domain mapping? This needs to be changed to the new owner of the site’s information, but I can’t seem to find anywhere that it can be changed. Please advise.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

These instructions should help:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/transferring-a-site-to-another-wordpress-com-account/
Take a look through that page and let me know if you have any further questions. I’ll be happy to help.

The note above was from the last volunteer webmaster. I am the new webmaster and whatever that link did I can no longer access the website to modify it.

Can you be more specific about what you mean when you say ” I can no longer access the website”?
The link above is to instructions for transferring ownership from one WordPress.com user account to another.

Transferring ownership to a different WPcom account means the original site owner no longer has access to it. It says this in the big red notification message during the transfer process:
You will not be able to access whateversite.wordpress.com unless allowed by the new owner
And in the confirmation email you needed to click on to finalize the transfer:
Remember that once you confirm the transfer, you will no longer have any control over the blog
If you need to have access to the site, you will need to be added by the new site owner. Here’s a few important words on User Roles: https://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/
