  Hi. I notice that the url for my page or post is https://myblog.wordpress.com/2016/02/12/post-name. If I upgrade to a business plan (299/year) can I change the permalink to https://myblog.wordpress.com/post-name?

  You can’t change the permalink structure on WordPress.com sites. If you want to customize the permalinks you have to self-host your site using the software from WordPress.org.

  ok. thank you. but is there a way for me to redirect old urls to new pages/posts found in my wordpress.com site?

  One more question, if I migrate my old posts to wordpress.com, can the time posted be preserved? Example, a post made last Oct 2015 can still be the same date posted in wp.com. So myblog.wordpress.com/2015/10/01/blog-post

  Yes.

  If you upgrade to the Business plan you can map you current domain name to WordPress.com and use that instead of the .wordpress.com. Example: use myblog.com instead of myblog.wordpress.com.
