Change phone number on account

  Hi, I have a new phone number, and I can’t log in to my WP account.

  How do I get around this to change the number on the two-step verification?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  Are you speaking of this, kimberlyjsmith, account? If you can post here in the forums it means you are already logged in, and you should be able to update your 2FA settings here:

  If you’re asked for a code before you can access those settings, please use one of the backup codes that were generated when you first set that up – our system shows you did confirm receipt of those codes.

  Enable Two-Step Authentication

  I also strongly recommend you set a backup phone number and email address so you have alternative options for receiving a code should your number change again in future.
