change primary domain address

My current word press login is looking for walnutcustomcomponents.com which I changed to simply be a redirect to walnutcc.com . I’ve hired a web designer and need to give him access to Word Press to update walnutcc.com

Both those domains are registered with domain.com, and they’re hosted with Netfirms.com, which means you’re using them with a self-hosted WordPress site. Self-hosted sites are not on our servers and we have no access to or control over it at all.
If you changed the domain on your site and now find yourself unable to log into the dashboard, it’s because you didn’t follow the correct steps to change the domain. You’ll need to contact your hosting provider for help reconnecting the correct domain, and once you can log into the dashboard again you can create a user profile for your designer via Users ->Add New.

Hi, sorry to jump in on this. I have a question about ‘Primary Domain’.
I have mapped FamilyCarersNet.com to my website http://www.familycarersonline.com, which is hosted with WordPress.
But WordPress admin doesn’t give me the option to make FamilyCarersNet.com the Primary Domain.
Why would this be? And how do I change it to be the Primary Domain?

You have a site with the Business Plan using plugins. Those sites work a bit differently from regular WordPress.com sites.
