I’m trying to change email subscription to weekly instead of immediate but I can’t! I even signed up for a wordpress account so I can do this but I still cannot!
Am I missing something here?

When you log into http://WordPress.com and then click on the “edit” button next to “blogs I follow”, what do you see listed? Are you seeing the blogs you would like to modify delivery notification settings for?

Thanks for your reply. So it seems subscriptions I want to manage show through https://subscribe.wordpress.com but don’t show delivery methods. It then instructs me to sign up for a wordpress account to actually manage my subscriptions. Which I had done and that’s how I posted the question to this forum(?).I followed your instruction and clicked the edit button next to blogs I follow. It does not list the subscriptions I have already subscribed to. I did add the external wordpress sites just now through this “blogs i follow” page. They show up as RSS icons next to the listed blogs I follow. But it looks like these data sources are separate.
I’m so confused! I hope I didn’t confuse you :)

So, the issue appears to be that those are not WordPress.com sites but rather Jetpack connected self-hosted WordPress sites. Jetpack connected sites do not currently have the ability to offer weekly digests. It is something we are working on, but at the moment, no such luck.
