  I want to update the name of my wordpress site without losing any content or followers, subscribers , comments etc. on my posts. Please let me know if this is possible.

  To add a custom domain name to your WordPress.com site, follow one of these options: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/#add-a-domain-name

  You won’t lose anything, you’ll just be adding the domain to the existing site. :)
