Change username

  Hi, I would like to change my username, however it says that the username has been taken. I used to have two accounts and the other account used to have the username I wanted. However, I read somewhere that I can change it into a different one, so I can use it to my account whoch I would like to use. It also said that it may take a few days before I could change into this username but it’s been over a week, and still the same. Can anyone please look into this? Thanks.

  Hi there,

  What is the username you’re trying to use? If it’s a username you had previously which you then discarded when changing to a new one, the old username cannot be used again. Discarded usernames are permanently disabled, and no one, including the original owner, can then register that username again.

  It’s also not possible to reassign a username that already exists, even if the account using it is no longer active.
