change username

  I’m trying to change my username. It says the one I entered is valid but then when I click submit it says 500 post/username…looks like an error code or something. Why won’t it change it? Help!

  What username are you trying to change to?

  And just to confirm, you’re trying to change your username via your WordPress.com account settings at https://wordpress.com/me/account/, correct?
