Changed Domain Name and Lost Everything

    I purchased a new domain name from google and tried to change my domain and site name but now I don’t have access to anything and everything is broken. What do I do? I’m not great with computers so reading the help section is just really confusing.

    Hi there,

    On what site are you working? The account you’re using to post here does not own any sites on WordPress.com.

    If you’re using the open source WordPress software at another host, changing the domain on a stand-alone WordPress site like that has to follow a specific process. You can find the documentation for that process here, though many hosting providers have their own process for this via their hosting control panel.
