changed email address but old email address still can login.

  Hi , I want to pass on my blog to a friend so I needed to change the login details. I put his email address instead of mine in Settings > Accounts. saved the changes. He got a confirmation email. clicked on it and now his email address is showing in Settings > accounts. the problem is I can still login using my email address and password. We want him to be the only person and his email address the only email address that can access and admin the blog. It is a WordPress.com blog.

  Please help as this is getting a serious problem affecting our friendship. Thanks.

  to be more clear: the problem is we both can login with our own unique email addresses. with his and with mine. How to get rid of first one?
