Changed the background of my site and data is missing

  I input all of my data on to a blank layout for my website but since I changed/upgraded the layout,I cannot find any of my images or data. I don’t know where to find it or how to undo the layout and have my data back.I am doing this for a project so if anyone knows how to retrieve my data after changing the layout,it would be greatly appreciated.

  Hi there,

  With our newer themes, like Coterie which you activated two days ago, the theme’s default front page is enabled automatically when you activate the theme.

  But your original front page is still on the site. It has just been set to draft.

  Go to My Site ->Site ->Pages, and you can republish it. Then go to My Site ->Design ->Customize ->Homepage Settings to set the correct page as the site’s front page again.

  Thank you so much! So just to be clear, I have to transfer my data on to the new theme page?

  Nothing needs to be transferred, just follow the steps my colleague posted above. :)

  Go to My Site ->Site ->Pages, and you can republish it. Then go to My Site ->Design ->Customize ->Homepage Settings to set the correct page as the site’s front page again.
