  How can I prevent visitors from making changes to my settings, since anyone can get into my dashboard by clicking on ‘My Site’?

  Hi @unclesunnyblog, you have no worries.

  Only you and those you might specifically add to your site as a Contributor, Author or Admin can access your site. If I visit your site and I’m logged into WordPress.com, if I click that it takes me to “MY” sites, not yours. And for those not logged into WordPress.com, they will not see the admin bar at the top at all.
