Changes In WordPress Stat Keeping?

What happened to the total count when you click on a story/article? I also want to ask about getting more visuals on those “syndicated” views. I think an “at a glance” approach works best. I appreciate the help!

What happened to the total count when you click on a story/article?
Hi there, would you be able to provide more information about where exactly you recall seeing this number?
You can see the total views on a post or page by following these steps:
Does this page display the numbers for each post that you’re looking for?
Here’s how to get there:
- Go to your stats
- Click the “Summaries →” link at the top right of the “Top Posts and Pages” box.
- Click the “All Time” link near the top of the page (it’s a little slow to load).
Let me know if this is what you’re looking for. Thanks!

Hi there!
Well, it’s under the area where you’ll see “Site Stats”… scrolling down, you’ll see “Top Posts and Pages”. It’s when you click on the story’s “blocks” that you’ll get just a summary on that story or total hits. This area also separates direct hits from “syndicated” hits. There’s always been a total number but now it’s gone. Instead, now you have to roll your cursor over each day for a story and pull out the calculator to get a total. The ‘at a glance” really works for me.
Tried to do a screenshot but it’s not working…

Thanks for the information.
A screenshot would actually be very helpful.
Here’s a guide on how to make a screenshot:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/You can upload the screenshot in your Media Library so I can see it. Thanks!

Okay! Got the screenshot but unsure how to upload it. I think it’s now stored in media files (I can see but can you)?
Thanks for your help! I really appreciate it.

I’ve found the screenshot, thanks!
Our developers are looking at it to try to determine what you saw before, as they aren’t aware of any recent changes to the individual page’s stats display. I’ll let you know if I get any new information.

I just uploaded that screenshot. Literally, the total number of hits appeared directly under the words; “Stats for:” and now it’s gone…
Thanks again for your help!

Thanks for the information. Our developers are considering adding this total in the future, but I don’t have an ETA. In the meantime, you can still access those counts by using the steps I gave you earlier. Thanks!
