changing a page name when it doesn’t show up under “Pages”

On my site the section containing my blog is simply titled “Home” and I would like to change it to say “Blog”. For some reason underneath the page section in the dashboard “Home” is not listed, only the other pages. Any idea as to how to find/change this?

Please paste the exact URL of your blog when asking questions here, or link your nickname to your blog (as explained in the Sticky 8 Things to Know Before Posting). Helps us help you.

Your Home tab is not listed under Pages because it’s not a static page such as those you can create: it’s just a link to the blog front. And it’s built into the theme – you cannot remove or rename it. If you want it to say “Blog” instead of “Home”, you can switch to a theme in which the built-in link is “Blog”, or you can switch to a theme with no such built-in link and create the link yourself.
