Changing Admin Email

  When I try to change the admin email, I get told ‘There is a pending change of the admin email to….’ However, I don’t get any further notifications on email.

  How can I change the email address successfully? Many thanks!

  Howdy –

  I want to check and make sure that you’ve looked in the spam and trash and any other folders with in that email client? Remember this is being delivered to the address existing on the account at https://wordpress.com/me/account/

  I’m not sure that I understand.

  I have checked both email address-the previous admin one and the one I want to change it to and checked the spam, but there is no notification.

  It seems to be a glitch on the WordPress side of things…

  Can you go to https://wordpress.com/me/account/ and see if that’s the old or new email address listed? Our logs show it was changed about 4 hours ago.

  Yes, I was able to change the email for my main WordPress account. However, it was on a specific WordPress site that I am setting up, that the website admin email doesn’t seem to be able to be changed.
