Changing default domain

  I had set up a blog in 2008 which I’ve been updating today
  yvonnefarrell.wordpress.com but I realised this wasn’t the name I wished to use and wished to change it to glasgowtherapist.wordpress.com

  I followed the thread instructions to change my default domain and when I sign in now I am glasgowtherapist but when I go to my blogs, I now have 2 blogs – 1. glasgowtherapist with no content and 2. yvonnefarrell with all the pages I’ve been working on all morning.

  I only want 1 glasgowtherapist.wordpress.com with the blog I’ve created under yvonnefarrell

  That’s easy. On the dashboard of the blog with the posts, go to the Tools page and create an Export file. Then, on the dashboard of the blog where you want the stuff to be, go to Tools->Import and import it all. Once it’s all there and confirmed to have transferred over, set the old blog to Private. That way you have a spare, invisible blog so you can test themes and widgets and codes. Very useful.
