Changing domain from free to.in IN future

  I am creating a new woedpress blogging site but with free domain: xyz. WordPress.com If in future I wish to change it to in xyz.in ,then will be able to do it without loosing my existing blog page contents ?

  That’s correct. The only thing that would change is the address. All of your content, page, posts, media, etc… are safe and won’t be affected.
