Changing Domain Name

  Hello-

  I purchased a new domain name (bikesandballoons.com). My original domain name (vegbabe.com) is about to expire. I presumed that vegbabe would just expire and bikesandballoons would remain but it seems like they’ll both be unavailable? How can I keep my blog with the newly registered name only? I don’t want to have to pay double…

  Hi Bree,

  If you’re sure you don’t want to own the domain vegbabe.com anymore, I can remove it from your blog for you. (Just a quick warning: Once you give up ownership of a domain, there’s no guarantee you’ll be able to register it again here or elsewhere in the future.) Your blog’s visitors will be able to continue using the new domain that way.

  I can either remove the old domain now, or you can wait and let me know when you’re ready to have the domain removed from the blog. Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)

  That is wonderful! I am ready to give up vegbabe and have visitors just go to bikesandballoons.com.
