Changing domain names

  If I delete one of my sites, can I then use that domain name again? I want to change my current site rather than start from scratch

  Hi there,

  If you delete a free WordPress.com address that address cannot be used again by anyone, including you.

  Changing your site address will result in the current address being deleted, but if you still want to keep it, just let us know here after you’ve made the change and we can restore the deleted address for you – we can do this for 30 days after an address is deleted.
