Changing Domains

I bought a domain name through BlueHost and linked it to WordPress a while ago, but never really posted anything on my site. I’ve cancelled it with BlueHost and bought a new name that I now want to use, but can’t figure out how to switch my WordPress over to the new domain name. No matter what I change in my account, the old URL, username, etc. always show up. How can I completely get rid of everything I had before (URL, content, and any references to the old site) and switch to a cohesive new brand?
