changing email

  Hello! When I set up my wordpress, I accidently made my email (email visible only to moderators and staff). I was watching a guide and it slipped my mind when I was making it. When I go to switch my email, it says it has sent a confirmation to my new email but I never get it. I have retried this countless of times and still no email. I have no idea what to do now.

  That’s not the email we have for your account jaywalk93. Are you talking about a WordPress.org account perhaps? If so, we can’t help with that.

  To clear up any further confusion, there is WordPress.com and WordPress.org, and they are two different entities.

  We, WordPress.com, are a cloud-based platform where we manage WordPress sites, whereas WordPress.org is stand-alone software that you can download and self-host with any other hosting.
