Changing email address

  Hi
  I am trying to change the contact email address on http://www.lewesopendoor.wordpress.org but I get a message ‘That email address is already in use’.
  I did have another account with that email address but I closed it – can you help?

  Hi David,

  It sounds like the email address is still connected to the closed account. This process takes 30 days, during which time, the email address cannot be used for another WordPress.com account.

  Please reply to the confirmation email we sent when your other account was closed and we’ll be happy to help you there.
