changing email address issue

    Hi, I have a website on WordPress and I had an email as (email visible only to moderators and staff) and recently I changed to google (email visible only to moderators and staff).
    I am trying to change at settings now but the only thing that says is: Your email address has not been updated yet. Please check your inbox at (email visible only to moderators and staff) for a confirmation email.
    But I never received this email, can you guys give some advice ?

    Hi there,

    On what site are you working? The account you’re using to post here was created on WordPress.com only two hours ago and does not own any sites with us. I see no pending email changes on this account.

    If you’re using the open source WordPress software at another host, please ask for help at https://wordpress.org/support/ instead.
