Changing free domain name for free- is it possible?

  Hi I’m wondering if I can change my free domain name for free? I’m developing my site and want to change the URL to reflect the new theme.

  Hi there,

  Free .blog addresses like you have cannot be changed at this time. Only free *.wordpress.com addresses can.

  If you want to use a different address, you’ll need to create a new site instead at the address you want, and then you can transfer your content to the new site by exporting and importing it between sites.
