Changing Free WordPress Site Host

  If I change my free wordpress site’s host for the purpose of registering a new domain name (.com).
  What are the implications? Would I still have access to WordPress features (customization, account, themes etc)?
  Would I still have access to those or would they be lost completely?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  There is no need to change your hosting if all you want is a custom domain. You can add a custom domain to your existing WordPress.com site by upgrading to any of our plans at My Site ->Plans, and doing so won’t affect content already on your site in any way.
