changing from blog site to a regular website

  I have 2 questions and hoping you can help resolve these.
  1) I accidently made my website a blog site and I wasn’t wanting that, wondering if there is a way to change it to a regular site or do i have to erase the one I already created and start from scratch?
  2) When I created my site I meant to make it djtracev.wordpress.com but it went to djtraceca.wordpress.com, I am also wondering if there is a way to change that or is it best and recommended to erase the website and start from scratch?
