Changing hover color on button outline in simple product overlay banner

I want to use the simple product overlay banner but cannot find a way to change the color of the button outline when hovered over. It is default lime green! Any suggestions? Alternately, I can use the centered banner but would need to lighten the overlay; currently it is too dark and obscures important parts of my photo background. Thanks for your help.

What is the address of the site you are working on? A product overlay banner isn’t available on WordPress.com by default so it would be good to see exactly what you mean :)
Just let me know and we can go from there.

I’m working with two banner options. The second one is the “simple product overlay banner” element I added to just this individual page; not a part of the default theme we’re using. You’ll see when you hover over the “contribute” button that the button outline shows up in neon green. That’s what I would like to change, if possible.
