Changing my blog address.

  Hi
  I am having problems changing my web address. I have a blog that I want to be my one and only blog (adventures of a college grad in oakland) at fotosbyfleeblog.wordpress. I want it to be at just fotosbyflee.wordpress. My issue is that I have “camera repair by flee” at that address.

  I have tried to change the address of the camera repair blog to free up the address and it just creates copies of the camera blog and changes my user name. It doesn’t free up the address. I am new to wordpress and so frustrated by how completely unfriendly the site is that I’m probably going to go to a different site. I’ve heard such good things about it though.

  Can someone walk me though deleting all but “adventures” at fotosbyfleeblog.wordpress and then adjusting the address to be fotosbyflee.wordpress? I do not want to fight with this anymore. I have no content I want saved aside from the address. Also how do I change my username back from what it became while accidentally creating those duplicate blogs?

  Going on the assumption that you are the owner under this username of both sites:

  There’s no content at http://fotosbyflee.wordpress.com/ so why don’t you just export the content from http://fotosbyfleeblog.wordpress.com/ (which seems to have only one post?) and import it at http://fotosbyflee.wordpress.com/

  Also how do I change my username back from what it became while accidentally creating those duplicate blogs?

  Changing usernames is a permanent change.
