changing my domain name and transferring to a new one

I would like to change the name of my site and the domain name. Can I do this without losing the current site and/or followers?

You can definitely change your domain and site name without losing your followers. Domain names can’t be changed, you just have to purchase a new one. You can do this here:
And you can change the site title through Settings > General in your dashboard.
You’ll followers will not be affected by either of these changes.
