Changing my email address

  I am wanting to change my email address and it says that the email is already in use. I use to have a WordPress account with that email, but I deleted it but I am still not able to change it back to that former email address. I need to get it changed for school.

  Hi there!

  You’ll need to wait 30 days after closing the account to be able to re-use the same email address.
  As an alternative, you can reply to the email we sent you after you’ve closed the account and ask for it to be restored. Then, change the address on that account to a different, throw-away address.

  This will free the desired email address, and you’ll be able to use it with your new account.
