Changing name servers?

    request assistance in updating the name servers in WordPress.com
    I have a Macbook and I am trying to update the DNS domains. I already have the new domains, but I don’t know how to proceed. I’ve tried something with the ‘Terminal’ on my desktop, but I can’t seem to make further steps with this.
    I’d like very much appreciate answers for an ignorant about this. It’s my first time migrating my blog and I’m having a hell of a time.

    You can point the domain you registered at WordPress.com to another server (hosting service), with these steps:

    Change a Domain’s Name Servers

    You’ll need to obtain the name server values from your current host. You should be able to find them on their support documentation, or contact them and ask for the information. (Name servers may be referred as “nameservers” or “NS records” instead.)
