I would like to adjust some of the text/menu and text/link colors but keep the black background. How can I do that? I have limited CSS writing knowledge. Thanks!

Hi –
I’ll be happy to take a look at the theme CSS and see what can be done. Please share more details about what it is you want to see changed. For example, larger or smaller texts and where…

Anywhere there is red – either text or highlighted box (date box) I would like to be either pink (#FE47C7) or green (#1DDC43) or teal blue(#43D8FD). I just don’t know where to input that in the CSS.
I would like to be able to see each color one at a time to be able to see what I prefer. Is this possible?
Thanks so much!

I’m sorry, that is a self-hosted WordPress.org site, which we really can’t help with here.
To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities: http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
WordPress.org has complete documentation for self-hosted/installed versions of WordPress.org at https://wordpress.org/support/ and support at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
