Changing the blog’s URL.

My account was set up by someone else. He, for what reason I do not know, used the address burkus828944642.wordpress.com. However, I do not want either my name nor this number in the URL. This number is highly offensive to me. I want the address to be chanoyu-to-wa.wordpress.com. I cannot find how to change it. Please help, because it must be changed. Thank you for your help.

The address chanoyu-to-wa.wordpress.com cannot be registered. Site names can only contain lowercase letters (a-z) and numbers. You can only register chanoyutowa.wordpress.com.

Oh, I see. I will try to change it to what you suggest, then — though the way I wrote it (chanoyu-to-wa.wordpress.com) was accepted, and this URL actually links to the blog. The problem was not with the new URL, but getting rid of the other URL — because it looks like a holocaust registration number (and it gives me the shudders every time I see it). I just never want to see it again — and yet it seems to be the default URL for the blog with the other a secondary URL.
If I cannot find a way to get rid of the other URL, I will have to close the blog. The URL upsets me that much every time I see it. Sorry.
