Changing the CNAME settings (I think)

  Hi there,

  I’ve updated my site http://www.pembridge.net to wordpress. I’ve updated the name servers at
  GoDaddy and when I type http://pembridge.net it’s fine but when I type http://www.pembridge.net it goes back to my old typepad site.

  I think I need to change the CNAME settings but I don’t know what to change them to in the Edit DNS settings within WordPress.

  Can you help please?

  Looks like your domain is still pointing to the WordPress.com name servers. To point the domain you registered at WordPress.com to another server (hosting service), please follow the instructions here.

  Note you will need to obtain the name server values from your current host. You should be able to find them on their support documentation, or contact them and ask for the information. (Name servers may be referred as “nameservers” or “NS records” instead.)
