Changing the domain without have to pay for it?

    I tried to register a domain name i already own, which is amber-west.com. However, I didn’t realize I’d have to pay WordPress for it. I decide to not register it, but it changed my domain to amberwestcom.worpress.com instead of amberwestwriting.wordpress.com. The one it changed it to is stupid and looks really unprofessional. Is there anyway I can change it back to the original without paying for it? I’m having a hard time accessing it in my settings.

    Once your free blog address has been changed, the process cannot be reversed. You won’t be able to use the previous address again but you can choose something else.

    The other option is to register a custom domain like amber-west.com — but that is a feature of paid plans.
